About Natalie Le Clerc
Natalie Le Clerc is a senior executive of Red Carnation, a hotel group subsidiary of The Travel Corporation, a global travel company.
Natalie le Clerc has a great deal of experience in the leisure and tourism industries, having managed a number of international hotels, and large resort & spas.
Education
Le Clerc was born in 1972 in Bulli, Australia. After completing high school she pursued a travel diploma from a college located in Sydney called Traveland. Later, while working at The Travel Corporation, she also received various tour management training certifications.
Early Career
After earning her diploma, Natalie Le Clerc worked in a variety of positions in the hospitality and leisure industries. She first began working in a travel consultancy in Australia; next she took on roles in an international resort company, in Australia, as well as the Maildives. After that she worked as a stewardess on a yacht sailing the Mediterranean, and as a supervisor in a restaurant/bar in the UK.
During 1999, Natalie Le Clerc was offered the position of tour manager for Contiki, to oversee tours across Europe. In this role she led a range of different groups and excursions to more than 20 European countries.
A few years later, Le Clerc was asked to take part in a new Contiki project, the Great Keppel Island Resort. It was at this resort that she took on various positions from 2002 up until 2005. She worked as the supervisor for all kinds of entertainment, excursion, and leisure programs, then went on to become the guest services manager controlling a great deal of the resort’s operations. While working at Great Keppel Island, she also spent some time at the Contiki resort in Greece, acting as the resort manager during a great deal of refurbishment and restructuring activities.
Contiki Resorts
After all of her work with Contiki and her professional growth at the Great Keppel Island resort, in 2005 Natalie Le Clerc was promoted to assistant general manager at Contiki’s key resort in Bali. She continued to work her way up and in 2007, she became the general manager of the entire resort.
Whilst Natalie Le Clerc was the general manager of Contiki Bali, the resort underwent a vast refurbishment and rebranding process in order to become the Breezes Resort and Spa. During this busy time, Natalie played an important role and oversaw all of the resort’s operations.
Once the resort was fully re-branded, Natalie Le Clerc served as general manager, spending a great deal of time working with various departments such as human resources, food and beverage, rooms, entertainment, finance, general maintenance and hotel security. She also managed the international Sales & Marketing of the resort.
During 2010, Natalie Le Clerc was offered the role of general manager for Mountbatten Resorts Indonesia, part of the Red Carnation Hotels group, which like Contiki is part of the global company, The Travel Corporation. Natalie worked as the general manager at Mountbatten Resorts up until 2011, when she was promoted to be a senior executive of Red Carnation Hotels.
